It is completely extruded, so every pellet has the same composition (All-in-One). The result is no more left-overs and the assurance that a complete diet has been consumed, because selective feeding will be prevented. The rabbit is a true vegetarian, and in the wild rabbit has grasses, fruit, leaves and seeds in his diet. The ingredients in Care+ mirror this natural diet. Care+ contains sufficient roughage to keep a rabbit’s gut functioning properly, but low fat content will help avoid obesity and the accumulation of fat around the body organs. Additional hay helps prevent boredom, and so is also recommended. Contains all the necessary amino acids, vitamins and minerals (in chelated form for better absorption), Omega-3 and Omega-6 in the correct proportions for a healthy heart and blood vessels. Echinacea and Spirulina are added to support the immune system and the body’s resistance to diseases, FOS and MOS are added to ensure healthy gut flora, but Yucca Schidigera will reduce the odour of faeces and urine. The Vitamin E and Cell Protection System protects the cells against damaging. As in all Care+ foods, the pieces are hard and of the right size to assist with dental care.
