Feeding advice: When changing your rat onto a new food it is important to do this gradually. Over a few days mix some old food in with Beaphar CARE+® Rat to avoid causing any intestinal disturbance. The required amount of Beaphar Care+® is dependent upon the size and weight of your rat. The information below is a guide and may need to be adjusted to suit your rat’s requirements. Rats weighing between 200-500g: Feed 11-22g of food over 24 hours. Rats weighing between 500-800g: Feed 22-33g of food over 24 hours. After 24 hours, any uneaten food should be disposed of. Fresh drinking water should always be provided.
