The pheromone used in the Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Collar is a clinically proven, simple and effective solution to help calm, comfort and reassure cats and help reduce unwanted behaviour. Using pheromones recognised by your cat, the Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Collar helps them to feel at ease anywhere, and helps reduce common problems such as excessive meowing, territorial and aggressive behaviour, fighting, avoidance, hiding, or general feelings of anxiety. The Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Collar is beneficial when cats are faced with new experiences, such as learning periods, social situations, a new family and multi-cat households. The calming effect can also support your cat during other stressful situations such as travelling, cattery stays, vet visits, thunderstorms, fireworks and loud noises.

To fit, place the collar around your cat’s neck and slide the free end through the buckle. Tighten the collar, leaving enough room to insert two fingers between the collar and neck. If your cat is still growing, remember to loosen the collar regularly. Ensure the Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Collar is in contact with the skin, and not overlapping any other collar or the calming effect may be reduced. Cut off any excess collar and dispose of in the household rubbish. The collar must be fitted at least 15 minutes before a potentially stressful situation.
